• Working knowledge of the manufacturer’s handbook.
• Identifying different types of pallet/stacker trucks and their components.
• Locating and understanding steering, driving, and braking controls.
• Conducting pre-operational checks in accordance with requirements.
• Safely mounting and dismounting the machine.
• Starting, stopping, and safely moving the machine.
• Configuring the machine for travel and manoeuvring safely. 
• Carrying out lifting and load handling tasks.
• Performing end-of-shift and shutdown procedures.
